Dave Underwood is the the KMPAM StationMaster and a presenter.
Dave lives in Maroochydore, the region known as
The Sunshine Coast, in Queensland on Australias East coast. Dave worked for over 10 years in the industry doing
Lighting for all sorts of Australian bands as well as working on large stadium shows with Aussie and international acts, such as INXS, Midnight
Oil, Jimmy Barns, Alice Cooper, Thompson
Twins, Deep Purple, even Kenny Rogers and at 1 time the Moscow circus.
Dave also put light
on just about everything you can imagine, fashion
parades, cars, even famous buildings like our
Parliament House and War Memorial in Canberra.
For several years Dave was the hire manager at a
Lighting company in Canberra and had many
offers to go and work for the ‘big guys’ but Dave hated flying and the 'big time' involves big flying.
Since becoming stationmaster of KMPAM Dave has joined a local community radio staion and
did a radio presenters course and did a 4 month
block of shows, 2 hours every week in prime drive time at 5 till 7.
